Voice
and Data:
IST specialize in installing structured cabling for both data and voice, Cat 3 and Cat 5 for voice, depending on your requirement. Cat 5E and Cat. 6 for Data. We will work with you to successfully install a complete easy to manage cable infrastructure. To accomplish this, all cabling must be run in an neat and orderly manner, this will ensure easy to maintain cabling for future diagnostics. Strictly following TIA/568 standards.
Fiber
Optics:
IST has extensive experience in single and dual mode fiber optic systems. Mostly used as a backbone in large networks or where large distances need to be covered, where regular copper would not be able to carry the signal over the distance. Currently, as prices are coming down on fiber cable and the equipment; we will see more and more fiber being run directly to the desktop.
Patch
Panels:
Patch panels are the best method for cable management. Patch panels make it easy for you to add and change connections to your switch. Patch paneling keeps the wires clean and unaffected for the long term. Why just use tips with cables everywhere? Just install a patch panel the right way to terminate your copper cable.
Dos and
Don'ts of Professional Data Cabling:
• Use fire resistant cable for lowered (t-bar) ceilings
• Don't Run cable within 1' of power sources
• Don't run cable within 3' of florescent lights
• Don't use ties
• Don't stretch cable more then 25 pounds of pressure during
installation
